This will be the first year that I can actually make it down to Homer for the festivities. I am really looking forward to sea chanteys at the Salty Dawg and the wooden boat show. Not sure if I can make it to the sea chanteys as my children are much to young for the Dawg. Which is a bummer because Jack the Four Year Old can belt out "What would you do with a Drunken Sailor" with the best of em and he loves and sings word for word "Off to Dutch Harbor"

Oh well, they will be fascinated in the wooden boats. And we could all use some spit time as Eagle River is dusty and a little blah this time of year.
