Palin "declines pay raise"

Come on people, do the math. Our not so esteemed governor declined a pay raise of $25,000 per year, that's good right? Hmmm, she has charged $60 per day per diem to live in HER OWN HOME, plus travel expenses for her family in the amount of $43,490. Let's see, decline $25,000 and take $61,490. No one said she was stupid, but did we think she was this flagrant?

The big SWISH

While most of you know today as the winter solstice , my Dad and I always consider this the day all the salmon turn around and start their trip back to us. So Happy Big Swish day to all of you.

Jack and Brodie visit Santa

Well tis the season to have the kids picture taken with good old Mr. C. Stephanie emailed me some of the results and I just had to share.

Brodie does not seem to feel the joy of the season. Jack seems to see something on the floor and Mr. C looks like he is made of stone.

So as a first post to our fabolous new blog I thought it might be a good idea to give the readers a cast of characters. This post will cover the children.

Jack and Brodie:
The two monkeys in the zoo. Jack is on the left, Brodie on the right. With a combined age of 7.5 years, Jack is 4.5 and Brodie is 3, these two pack a punch.
